Half Term Jubilee fun at The Tank Museum

Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this May Half Term at The Tank Museum, with a series of royalty-themed activities.

Dress up as a royal and try on real army parade uniforms, before looking at memorabilia from the Queen’s 1953 Coronation and making your very own bunting and flags.

Catch the weekday Tanks in Action display at 1pm, take a ride in a tracked vehicle and then drop into The Tank Museum restaurant – where they’ll be serving Jubilee themed food. Plus, on 1 June you can take part in planting a tree as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy initiative to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.

Inside, don’t miss new Museum interactives including Giant Top Trumps, destroy your opponent’s tank in Tactical Training, make a Tank of the Future with Cobi, climb inside a mock Centurion’s driver’s seat, sort the tools in our Chieftain Tool Bench, and make a Memorable Mascot out of fuzzy felt.

Explore Dorset’s largest indoor attraction this May Half Term, where kids can dress up, enjoy trails and tours, and let off steam in our soft play and outdoor play area before taking a break in the Museum café or restaurant.
