See tanks in action this summer school holidays

Every weekday this school holidays, visitors to The Tank Museum can see tanks roll into action in the Museum’s arena.

There are family-friendly activities taking place every day inside the Museum and the 1pm Tanks in Action display every weekday, where visitors will be able to see tanks from the Cold War and WW2 take to the arena.

Plus don’t miss the new WW2 ‘Long After the Battle’ exhibition, which uses veteran interviews to tell the story of the Royal Armoured Corps during the Second World War.

Visitors can ride in a real tracked-vehicle (£4pp) and children can also let off steam in the outdoor play area and in the new inside soft play area, adjacent to the Museum’s Café.

As Dorset’s largest indoor attraction, The Tank Museum is also the ideal activity for those rainy summer days!
