Calling All Modellers – Win a Ride in a Tank!

The South West’s biggest model show is back at The Tank Museum this weekend, 13 – 14 September 2025. Model makers have until midnight on Wednesday 10 September 2025 to submit their entries for a chance to win exclusive prizes, including a ride in a tank.

Visit The Tank Museum this weekend to see and buy models surrounded by the best collection of tanks in the world at the South West Model Show. The full weekend programme is available online and includes details of the exciting competition for all kinds of models, from planes and boats to sci-fi. And of course, tanks!

“The competition has become a popular fixture of the Model Show, and we are delighted to be able to offer some unique experiences as prizes. The model doesn’t have to be specially made for the competition, so showcase your best work – we can’t wait to see your entries.”

The South West Model Show features demonstrations and displays, including remote-control tanks, plus an opportunity to meet Daleks and Star Wars characters! Visitors will also be able to explore The Tank Museum’s powerful, interactive exhibitions.

The competition costs £3 to enter, plus your entry ticket to the Museum.  Judging will take place at the South West Model Show on 14 September 2025.
