Event Details

Schools from Dorset are invited to come along and enjoy STEM exhibitors with hands-on activities live exciting interactive theatre shows from top performers, as well as showcasing their Big Bang competition entries.

Secondary Schools: 9:30-12:00
Middle & Primary Schools: 12:30- 15:00
Public (parents & carers): 17:00- 19:30 *New for 2020

The Big Bang is the largest celebration of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) for young people in the Dorset area.
2019’s event was a real success with fun-filled shows, hands-on exhibits, interactive workshops and a wide range of careers information from local and national employers. Over 1,700 students attended the event which was supported by 40 businesses and organisations.

The show aims to show young people the exciting and rewarding opportunities out there for them with the right experience and qualifications, by bringing classroom learning to life.
Top businesses based in Dorset will help bring to life the varied careers available to all students interested in STEM.
