Event Details

Purbeck Art Weeks Festival runs from 23 May – 7th June 2020.

Caz Scott trained in fine art at the Arts University Bournemouth and now works as a full-time artist dividing her time between her Dorset studio and Falmouth, Cornwall.

Caz creates exciting vibrant images that depict her response and deep emotional attachment to her surroundings. She spends long periods walking, observing and sketching across the South-West. She is motivated by the dramatic landforms and wildness of the coast and moorland often returning to familiar places as well as seeking new inspiration.

Caz will be returning to The Etches Collection for a 3rd time and will be starting her artists residency here at the Museum from January 2020*, you can come and see her painting ‘live’ all the way up until May culminating in a 2 week long exhibition from 23rd May through until 7th June during Purbeck Arts Week when she will be bringing a selection of her amazing and stunning paintings to display and for purchase. There will also be an opportunity to take part in some artists workshops, so please keep your eyes peeled for those dates which we will announce here as soon as we have them!
